Criteria
- All participants must be 18 years of age and not older than 25 years of age by October 1, 2011.
- All participants must be Nigerian citizens.
- The contestants will be judged on poise, intelligence, natural beauty, character and their potential ability to be an ‘ambassador’ for Nigeria.
- All participants must have a minimum qualification of O-levels, SSCE or the equivalent.
- All participants must not be married.
- All participants must not be mothers and must not be pregnant.
- All participants must have no visible tattoos.
- All participants must have no criminal record.
How to Register
- Contestants within Nigeria must pay N5,000.00 (five thousand naira only) into the MISS NIGERIA ACCOUNT: NUMBER 514 203 0006 316 at any First Bank branch.
- Contestants outside Nigeria- in the United States must pay $35 (thirty-five dollars only) into the following account:

- Contestants outside Nigeria- in the United Kingdom must pay 25GBP into the following account

- Contestants must fill the teller with capital letters clearly, indicating full name and telephone number. CONTESTANTS MUST THEN KEEP THE TELLER REFERENCE NUMBER TO FILL IN THE REGISTRATION FORM ONLINE.
- Contestants must log on to the Miss Nigeria website to fill in their details. REGISTRATION forms are available ONLY ONLINE at missnigeria.org.ng
- Contestants must fill in the teller reference number before completing and sending the registration form.
Documentation to be brought to the casting venue
- The Original copy of the First Bank of Nigeria Plc Deposit Slip (Teller) and receipt.
- A copy of your birth certificate.
- Your ID card or travel Passport.
- 2 recent A4 sized colour photographs (one head-to-shoulder and one full body length) in appropriate dressing (Please note: Photographs will not be returned).
- A copy each of your educational certificates.
Miss Nigeria Rules
- Rules attached herewith are applicable to all Miss Nigeria entrants.
- The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- To receive the scholarship awarded, the Queen must successfully complete her reign and prove acceptance to a higher educational facility, within a year after her reign is complete.
- Miss Nigeria will maintain a reputation of good moral character; failure to do so may result in the forfeit of her title and in such a case the 1st Runner-Up will succeed.
- Any complaints of questionable character would necessitate the Miss Nigeria Committee meeting and voting on the decision of poor conduct.
- All Miss Nigeria finalists will be required to perform a limited number of engagements. She will therefore not be eligible to enter another pageant competition.
- The new Miss Nigeria will remain contracted to AOE to perform community related projects for 2 years after the completion of her reign, subject to a maximum of 12 days per year.
- The criteria set out above are in accordance with international pageant requirements.

Her name is Olaoluwajoju Mariam Muse. She is a mother and she is very violent and does not possess the qualities of a beauty queen.
